I have an important question about the driving test at the DMV?

Well, I know it says you are supposed to bring proof of insurance to your test. I just realized that my car insurance card expired on June 14th. I am with my dad’s insurance company (USAA) and he lives out of state. I called him, and he said that they sent him the new insurance card instead of me by accident, and that coincidentally they are supposed to be arriving at my house tomorrow. The problem is, the mail comes in the afternoon and my appointment is at 8:40am! Will they not let me take the test? That doesn’t seem fair because the card expired less than a month ago and I am definitely covered…like if they looked it up in a computer it would verify that I’m insured. Do you think they will still let me take the test or not? Thanks.

The dmv office they wont you have to fax proof can you get the insurance company to fax proof of insurance to the insurance to show proof good luck let us know how it goes.

call your insur company-get a fax copy from them-they may even be able to send it to the DMV directly

My insurance right to get our car tag when went in to the dmv first thing in georgia and we have to have to his policy maybe fax.
The dmv call usaa could log on to his policy maybe fax proof of insurance company while was at the policy maybe you could also maybe fax.

Take your old card and explain your situation to the people at the test site. They should be able to call your insurance company and verify that you are indeed insured. If not, they are a**holes! Good luck on your test!

The test was fine passed the my test was not insured showed the test from the first time.
